Miles and Miles


You know that you're in marathon training when the legs never seem to feel fresh. Yesterday was 13.1 miles easy on two runs and today was 15, also on two runs, which included a fartlek workout of 3 x 3-2-1. The next couple days will be easy running to get in the miles and Friday will be a marathon pace workout of 6-8 miles at goal pace.

On a happy note, my shipment of shoes arrived in the mail. A pair of Saucony Grid Tangent 3 and Brook Axiom 3. The funny thing is that I found a new pair of Axiom 3 stored away in the closet today.
