At first I felt a little guilty because I chose not to attend a hosted dinner, which was part of a 3-day work conference, in order to get in my run. The original plan was to get up early and out the door by 5am for my run, so that I can attend tonight's dinner. However, when the alarm sounded at 0445, I chickened out and decided to sleep in till 6am. At 1930 (7:30 pm), I was out of my Army dress uniform and into some running gear for an easy 12-miler. The run felt very comfortable with the HR averaging 146. One thing for sure is that I did not feel guilty after I finished my run.
Today: 12M @ 6:56 pace
